We’ve set up this site to inspire our readers to tent camp and hike in Michigan.
We are currently working hard to write amazing articles outlining the best camping sites and trails in our area.
For now, you are welcome to visit our sister site at www.treksw.com to take a look at some camping sites and hiking trails in the Desert Southwest, especially around Big Bend National Park, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Carlsbad Caverns National Park and other surrounding areas.
The Big Bend National Park area is especially great for winter hiking, since the weather is relatively warm compared to other national parks, and the rainy season is generally late summer.
If you really want to get off of the beaten path, you can head out to Black Gap Wilderness Management Area or Big Bend Ranch State Park, both of which are within a stone’s throw from Big Bend National Park.
So, lace up your boots, slap on your hiking hat and get outdoors.
